The Complex Systems That Underpin Our Lives
High-performance infrastructure is the driving force behind modern societies. Roads, paths, utility lines and networks form the foundation for mobility, public services and economic development. wpw plans and delivers infrastructure solutions that are sustainable, resilient and future-ready.
Our approach
Different uses, lifecycles and technical requirements must be carefully coordinated. Our approach is to identify and resolve potential conflicts at an early stage, whether in renovation, expansion or new-build projects. Our goal is to create infrastructure that supports the sustainable development of urban areas.
We analyse the underlying conditions, develop concepts and translate them into detailed plans. In doing so, we prioritise resource efficiency, cost-effectiveness and long-term performance. We coordinate and deliver projects from a holistic perspective, bringing all services together under one roof – from feasibility studies through to construction-ready solutions and the handover of completed projects.
Development
Well-planned infrastructure is the foundation for developing a site, providing access, utilities and the essential conditions for future use. wpw plans and delivers economically viable, technically reliable and sustainable infrastructure concepts for commercial, industrial, residential and recreational areas.
Through close collaboration between our interdisciplinary teams, we develop solutions for new-build projects, the revitalisation of existing sites and expansions. Our focus is always on sustainability, functionality and the highest standards of quality.

Water & Waste Management
Water and waste are key considerations in sustainable development. Responsible management of these resources protects the environment and society while ensuring economic efficiency.
wpw develops concepts and systems that conserve resources, close material cycles and deliver long-term value. From initial analysis through to operation, we combine technical innovation with proven methods to ensure security of supply, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
Drainage Systems
Against the backdrop of climate change, water is becoming increasingly important as a vital resource. Changes in legislation, extreme rainfall events, rising damage potential and higher energy costs present significant challenges. Our goal is to develop integrated concepts for water management, wastewater treatment and wastewater disposal.

Waste Management
The development of waste management legislation, from the 1980s to the current Circular Economy Act, has fundamentally changed the requirements for landfill construction and waste recovery. wpw supports clients in the remediation of former landfill sites and contaminated land, as well as in the planning of new facilities.
We place particular emphasis on innovative, economically optimised solutions that make the most effective use of existing structures wherever possible.
