New Construction of the Staufen Community Center and Media Library

With the construction of the new community centre and media library, Staufen has gained a modern building complex dedicated to culture, education and public events. wpw was responsible for the electrical engineering design, developing a needs-based, future-ready infrastructure to accommodate the building’s diverse uses.

The scope of services included the central power supply and associated distribution infrastructure, data and communications systems, structured network cabling and energy-efficient LED lighting with intelligent DALI/KNX control. The planning also covered emergency lighting, a fire alarm system, lightning protection and the electrical integration of photovoltaic systems, solar shading and stage technology.

The concept was complemented by comprehensive Wi-Fi infrastructure and modern electrical systems designed to support economical and sustainable building operation. The result is a high-performance technical infrastructure that meets the demands of a modern cultural, educational and community centre.
